Perfect dessert for fireworks night!

Have you’ve ever wondered what to serve for dessert to get that WOW reaction from your guests? This is the pud for you, it is really quick to knock up and the results are just everything!

Ingredients

  • For a big sharing Cookie (8” Oven-proof skillet/pan)
  • 110g Unsalted Butter
  • 130g Light Brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 150g Self raising flour
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla paste
  • 150g Choc Chips
  • Sea Salt for topping
  • Ice Cream to accompany!

Method

  1. Cream the butter and sugar together in a stand mixer, or using electric beaters.
  2. Add in the egg and beat until combined. Tip in the flour, salt and vanilla, and beat again until fully combined.
  3. Put the cookie dough into your skillet pan and press out with your hands until covering the entire base. Top with all the chocolate chips and a sprinkle of sea salt.
  4. Bake in a 190C oven for 20-25 mins or until golden and crisp around the edge, with a slightly oozy middle.
  5. Serve with your favourite ice cream scooped on top directly to your table. Dig in!
